We will discuss Sufism and Islamic magic, focussing on the mystic path of the Sufis, the so-called "physicians of the heart". We will explore how Sufism and the mysticism of the Near East influenced and was influenced by the ancient magical practices of antiquity and the Middle Ages.

Bright Haven is a campus for Sacred Roots Spiritual Community, a not for profit Faith Based Organization in Charlotte, NC. This is a donation-based service.

10:30am-12:30pm Service:
– Introductions
– Short Teaching on various topics
– Sound and/or movement practice
– 15-20 minutes of silent meditation for connection to Self
– Authentic group discussion
– Anyi donations and song
