Creative play is not just for kids! In fact, creative play can be quite helpful for adults to take a break from the current world we live in and use our imaginations to create new worlds and ideas. Join us for a Play Break where we will play a few games and exercises to get our minds working in a different way and create a connection with our fellow attendees. Then you can go back to the real world feeling refreshed and ready to take on all the craziness and goodness it has to offer.

Dayna Gowan is a speaker, workshop facilitator, improviser, public speaking coach, Distinguished Toastmaster, and host of the Improvly Speaking Podcast, which focuses on improv, public speaking, communication, and creativity. 3pm: Harmony Within: Through the Lens of Polyvagal Theory with Dilan Baluch

We explore how to cultivate inner harmony by understanding the nervous system through the lens of Polyvagal Theory.

Rather than seeing stress, shutdown, anxiety, or numbness as personal failures, we learn to understand them as intelligent nervous system states designed for survival. When we shift from self-judgment to nervous system literacy, harmony becomes possible.

Dilan Baluch is a Martha Beck-certified life coach dedicated to helping individuals uncover their full potential. A resilient soul, she continues to navigate life's challenges while finding her voice, embracing her true colors, and stepping into her authentic self. 4pm: Smudging and Ceremonial Feather Creation with Shannon Slayton

Feathers are a sacred and powerful symbol of honor, strength, and spiritual connection. They often act as messengers between the Creator and the earthly realm. Come learn how to adorn a feather to use for smudging and ceremonies. Bring your own feather or use one of the feathers provided. .

In 2020 I was blessed to cross paths with my teacher and friend Cady Janelle from Austin, TX where she lives and practices sacred arts with the Lakota tribe. She has bestowed this sacred indigenous knowledge on me to help bless and beautify my practices. With permission from the elders I share these traditions with you in reverence so we can all awaken to the wisdom and ways of this land to preserve, honor and respect the indigenous ways and honor our own individual paths.

5pm: Rooted in Relationship: Community as Resistance & Resilience with Bodhi Deva Ma

In a culture of fragmentation, isolation, and nervous system overwhelm, the most radical act is to belong. We are living in an era of disconnection — from our bodies, from each other, and from the deeper ground of meaning. Chronic stress, trauma activation, and social division aren’t just personal struggles; they are collective nervous system realities. And the solution is not more self-optimization. It is relationship.

Bodhi is the lead facilitator for Sacred Roots Spiritual Community in Charlotte, NC. She is a licensed therapist and seasoned ceremonialist who has worked with thousands to build community and helped activate heart centered living in community for over 25 years.

6pm: Energy & Intuition: Reconnecting Within with Candice Van Dertholen

Most people don’t struggle with decisions, they struggle with trusting themselves. In a world that rewards pushing and overthinking, we often lose touch with the quiet signals the body is always offering. Intuition isn’t something you have to find; it’s something you can learn to hear again. In this experiential workshop, we’ll slow down, tune inward, and explore how energy, awareness, and the body’s signals work together so you can begin trusting the wisdom already within you. We’ll close with a guided meditation and energy healing to help anchor this connection.

Candice Van Dertholen is a speaker, retreat facilitator, and private advisor who helps entrepreneurs and individuals in transition find inner clarity so they can move forward with confidence and direction. With more than 20 years of experience in leadership and business development, she understands how stress and internal noise can cloud decision-making. Her work blends nervous system regulation and energy awareness, giving clients tools to think clearly, trust their intuition, and take aligned action. Through her speaking, retreats, and private advisory work, Candice helps people reconnect with themselves and lead their work with greater clarity and ease..
