Sunday Services: The Wisdom of Altars: Honoring What Matters w/ LeAnne Feliciano

  • Bright Haven Farm 10020 Hambright Road Huntersville, NC, 28078 United States (map)

The Wisdom of Altars: Honoring What Matters

Discover why cultures across the world have created altars as places of remembrance, gratitude, prayer, healing, and transformation. Together we’ll explore how an altar serves as a living reflection of our values, intentions, and relationship with the sacred, whatever that means to each person. Through stories, traditions, and guided reflection, you’ll leave with a deeper understanding of how creating sacred space can bring greater presence and meaning to everyday life.

The Art of the Altar: Meaning, Purpose, and Practice

Explore the rich history of altars and shrines across diverse spiritual, cultural, and ancestral traditions, and discover the universal human impulse to create sacred space. We’ll examine the symbolism behind the objects we place on an altar, the intentions they hold, and how these practices can support mindfulness, connection, remembrance, and personal growth. Whether you’re new to altars or looking to deepen your practice, you’ll gain practical inspiration for creating a meaningful altar that reflects your own journey.
