Participants will experience the merging of the ethereal sounds of harmonium, guitar, Native American flute and drums combined with the ancient but simple sound of Om (ॐ), a Sanskrit word and symbol. It’s considered the primordial sound or cosmic vibration representing the essence of ultimate reality or consciousness.. In this sacred space, the traditions of all ancestors are honored as everyone gathers around a fire beneath a star-filled sky to celebrate existence and build community. As autumn unfolds, guests are invited to join by the cozy fire, meet new friends, and experience the powerful, heart-opening practice of sacred music and community drumming. Ceremonial Cacao will be served prior to the experience to open the heart and warm the soul!

Meet Your Facilitator

Jason Hart began his spiritual journey as a teenager in Midland, Michigan, after reading Dr. Raymond Moody’s Life After Life (about research into Near Death Experiences), then exploring Native American practices in the Lakota Sioux tradition. With the birth of his son William, he turned toward Eastern traditions, studying Theravada Buddhism and serving on the board of the Charlotte Buddhist Vihara under Ayya Sudhamma. His path then led to Advaita Vedanta and Kirtan, where he discovered Neem Karoli Baba in 2018 and later met Krishna Das, one of Baba’s followers and a renowned Kirtan practitioner. He also deepened his connection to the Advaita tradition through Sri Ramakrishna, Swami Sarvapriyananda, and the Charlotte Vedanta Society. Today, Jason devotes himself to Kirtan as a path of meditation, devotion, and unity, hosting weekly Sunday gatherings with his wife Loan in their home.
