Restorative Dance Experience and Sound Healing
You are invited to an evening of restorative community Dance-Floor Experience, utilizing integrated Qigong and somatic release, followed by a Healing Sound Bath. This unique opportunity is being led by Ioana Voicu.
Take this opportunity to release whatever still needs to go before welcoming a new year cycle; restore and rejuvenate, all while having fun and deepening the connection with yourself and your tribe.
We will begin with Qigong breath and movement to ground and open up the joints and to allow unrestricted energy circulation through the body.
We will then transition into dance, going progressively from gentle, flowing music to energizing, vigorous tracks and tribal rhythms, coming down to lyrical, back to gentleness, ending with deep cleansing Qigong breaths and visualization, then settling into stillness. The dance promotes the experience of freedom and joy of movement, as well as the nourishment of connection with others, united in rhythm and steps. Once the movement turns into stillness, you are invited to rest, while being immersed into a symphony of blissful channeled sounds.
Having already somatically transmuted, transformed, and released old energy and patterns from your bones and blood, your body will naturally enter a state of non-resistance, able to fully let go and receive at the same time. There is a deep, molecular level of energy cleansing and restoration that is able to happen through sound vibrations, while you are being bathed in celestial sounds of Universal Love and Light.
Important note:
We dance on concrete floor partially covered in rugs; you are encouraged to wear light footwear to protect your feet, yet as close as possible to a barefoot experience (i.g. ballet slippers, leather – sole moccasins, non-slip socks etc: NO sneakers or any kind of heavy shoes).
Please, wear comfortable, layered clothes that allow ample movements and do not restrict the flow of energy at the surface of your body.
For the sound bath, please bring a mat/pillow/blanket and whatever you need to be comfortable on the floor.
